Teachers, students, and families get hands-on experience with Maker tools and teaching and learning practices.

Professional development and field trips

The Meaning Maker Studio offers trainings and workshops for teachers and/or educator teams who want to get hands-on experience with maker tools and projects.  We offer Open Making Hours for our county educators or those working with our local population of students every first Wednesday of the month, from 3-6pm. To register, visit our Eventbrite page

Schedule field trips

We offer limited field trip opportunities at the Meaning Maker Studio. We want to expand the capacity of the teachers in our districts, so participating teachers are expected to co-lead these sessions and come to either an Open Making Hours event, or a pre-program orientation on the space and focus for the workshop.

Open Making Lab time

During the academic calendar year, the Meaning Maker Studio is open on the first Wednesday of the month to teachers, community members, and organizations who want to come in and use the space for individual projects.

Reserve your space on Eventbrite now.
